Future You

Students at Canterbury College have been amongst the first to benefit from an innovative programme developed by KaMCOP, geared towards helping them to take control of their future. The programme called 'Future You' is collaboratively delivered by Canterbury Christ Church University, the University of Kent, and the University for the Creative Arts.

Future You is broken down into six units, delivered as either six 2-hour sessions, or twelve 1-hour sessions:

  • Knowing You
  • Motivating You
  • Positive You
  • Successful You
  • Managing You
  • Promoting You

Students take part in a range of interactive activities and discussions which cover topics including core values, personality profiles, motivation, mindset, and organisation skills. The programme is designed to help students understand themselves better as they plan for their future, and feeds into areas such as writing personal statements and preparing for higher level study.
