UCA: Competitions

  • Competition
  • Hosted by University for the Creative ArtsDelivered at: Off campus

UCA are excited to announce the release of the NEW series of competitions for students and young people to partake over school holidays throughout the 20/21 academic year. Here you will have the opportunity to find out more about our upcoming competitions, entry requirements and prizes to be won.

The theme for the competition series is the word 'Irregularity'. We have all faced difficult and new challenges with our established routines and way of life turned upside down in 2020, it is safe to say that this year has been anything but regular. Artist, designers and creative thinkers regularly draw on their experiences for inspiration for their work, so we want you to think what this irregularity means to you.

Our competitions are suitable for young people aged 15-18 who have an interest in creative subjects and would like to develop their skills, knowledge and portfolio.

The aim of these competitions are to provide an opportunity for young people to access free creative opportunities from a higher education institution to support them to find out more about creative subjects, pathways, and careers.

We encourage you to make yourself familiar with terms and conditions for the compeptions before applying. If you have any questions about the eligibility criteria for individual activities, please get in touch at teachers@uca.ac.uk
