Online Mentoring support project

  • Brightside/CCCU Online Mentoring project for KaMCOP students only
  • Hosted by Canterbury Christ Church UniversityDelivered at: Canterbury campus, Medway campus

KaMCOP students and those taking part in the LEAP project will be able to access undergraduate support via the Brightside online Mentoring Project

Students in years 9, 10 and 11 have access to an SCE Ambassador via an online mentoring platform. They will learn about their options for GCSEs and beyond, as well as support for homework and classwork.

Our ambassadors have been fully trained on how to use the platform, are DBS checked and have experience of working with young people. The Brightside Online Mentoring Programme is safe and is monitored by NSPCC trained staff who filter messages for inappropriate content. There is an addtional website that students are able to access with free on-line learning resources.

Students will need access to a computer, tablet or phone but the mentoring project can be used any stage of the day.
