Canterbury Christ Church University is a modern university with a particular strength in higher education for the public services. With nearly 20,000 students, and with campuses across Kent and Medway, its courses span a wide range of academic and professional subject areas.
For the last seven years Canterbury Christ Church University has been bucking the national trend in encouraging first generation and least advantaged students into higher education (HEAT data 2015). 95% of Canterbury Christ Church University’s UK undergraduate students and 98% of the University’s UK postgraduates are in employment or further study within six months of completing their studies.
Committed to improving social mobility, they are proud that three quarters of the University’s graduates from least advantaged backgrounds, moved up a socio-economic group within six months of leaving Christ Church (75% of graduates in full time employment who responded to the DLHE 2012/13).
