Meet the team > Helen Farrant
Helen is the KMPF Schools Development Manager. She is responsible for the continued support and ongoing collaborative development of the Partnership’s outreach and progression programme with all our schools across the Federation. She works closely with our partner institutions to support collaborative schools’ provision and ensure effective delivery of the Hub schools' strategy.
Helen has many years’ experience working in education in Kent, predominantly as a Careers Leader managing and developing programmes of advice and guidance across careers, enterprise and work-related learning. She has a particular interest in post 16 pathways and extensive experience in HE guidance and support. Having been a progression mentor herself, Helen has first-hand experience from a school perspective of the many advantages and opportunities of widening participation outreach provision in schools.
Helen has worked extensively in collaborative roles across both the public and private sectors and has worked with colleagues in school and the world of work to add depth and value to the opportunities for young people in Kent & Medway. She has also worked in office management roles in the voluntary sector and private business.
